JSON Formatter Pro formats JSON in your browser. Your privacy is important to us.

Data We Collect

This extension does not collect any data. All JSON formatting happens entirely within your browser.

We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Browsing history or activity on other tabs
• Cookies or tracking identifiers
• Form data, passwords, or page content
• IP addresses for tracking purposes
• Device or hardware identifiers

Data Storage & Retention

Any preferences are stored locally using Chrome storage API and never leave your device. No external database or server stores your data.

Cookies

JSON Formatter Pro does not use cookies of any kind.

Permissions

Permissions used: activeTab (read page for JSON detection), storage (save preferences)

Content Scripts

Uses a content script on all pages to auto-detect JSON responses. The script only reads pages to check for JSON data - it does not modify, collect, or transmit any content.

Third-Party Services

None. No analytics or tracking tools are used.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties.

Children's Privacy

JSON Formatter Pro does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
